Residential Driver Job Responsibilities

Residential Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently driving trash collection vehicles and ensuring cleanliness in customer areas. Regardless of your experience, WM provides onboarding training to help you get up to speed quickly.

Drive and maintain vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations and company standards.

Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

Complete routes efficiently and collect trash on time.

Communicate with route managers to improve efficiency and resolve issues.

Dispose of trash containers properly and maintain cleanliness in customer areas.

Follow company policies and report accidents or damage.
